AT&T Exhibit

The following photos illustrate an innovative stretched fabric exhibit concept by Grozik Associates for the AT&T exhibit at the 1994 Comdex exposition in Las Vegas. The exhibit featured an interactive "Wizard Well", special lighting effects, a video wall, monitor towers, and two group meeting rooms.   Overall project managment and design: Embree Design.

Gracefull curves, constantly changing colors, and pillar free interconnected domes invite visitors into the exhibit area.  In the above photo, a rear screen presentation and the central information booth are shown. The "Wizard Well" is also visible on the right side. Visiters could look down into the the well and have their questions answered by a live wizard. The Wizard could see and hear visitors by way of a hidden camera and microphone.

In the photo to the left, a Value Added Reseller (VAR) pod is nestled under one of two extended tunnels of light.  Vendor pods featured raised demonstration platforms and additional monitors for small group presentations.

Video towers filled the back corners of the 70'x70' exhibit area. A camera and speaker hidden in each monitor tower allowed the wizard in the "Wizard Well" to talk to convention attendees and invite them to visit the exhibit or to talk with the Wizard of AT&T. Supporting technology for the exhibit was housed in the room behind the tower as shown in the photo to the right.

Two additional views of the "Wizard Well" are shown below. The left photo shows monitors with the same image visitors are seeing at the bottom of the "WizardWell. "
